Organic agriculture forbids the use of synthetic chemical products, GMOs and irradiation. It favours techniques that respect both living things and the environment by adopting the principles of agro-ecology, which is an important part of Nature de Fortant’s approach.
In order to ensure a maximum of freshness, we have chosen our Chardonnay grapes from the cool slopes of the Languedoc’s scrublands
The growing methods used embrace the principles of agro-ecology: preservation and development of biodiversity, control over and reduction of the use of fertilizers and plant protection products, water management, and choice of plant material suited to the area’s environment.
The grapes in each plot are harvested at their peak of ripeness and vinified separately:
Fermented at low temperatures (13-15°C) to preserve all of the wine’s finesse and freshness.
Aged in concrete/stainless steel tanks on fine lees for 4 months in order to bring out all of this wine’s fruit and texture.
This wine is brilliant straw yellow in colour and features a generous nose with notes of yellow peach and acacia. Full bodied and balanced on the palate with lovely tropical fruit flavours and a long finish.
