Origins of the cuveeOrganic agriculture forbids the use of synthetic chemical products, GMOs and irradiation. It favours techniques that respect both living things and the environment by adopting the principles of agro-ecology, which is an important part of Nature de Fortant’s approach.
 Philosophy
PhilosophyWe have selected our organic Grenache grapes from the scrublands of the Languedoc region to craft a wine that boasts lovely fruit and richness on the palate. 
The growing methods used embrace the principles of agro-ecology: preservation and development of biodiversity, control over and reduction of the use of fertilizers and plant protection products, water management, and choice of plant material suited to the area’s environment.
 Vinification
VinificationHarvested by night to keep the freshness, each vineyard lot is carefully and gently pressed, keeping only the free run & very low pressure juices for the pale and delicate colour. The lots are then fermented separately at low temperature for more finesse & purity. After 1 month of sur lies aging with battonage (for the texture), each component is blended to create the Fortant de France signature.
 Ageing
AgeingAged in concrete/stainless steel tanks on fine lees for 3 months to bring out the fruit and develop freshness.

Winemaker's notesThis rose petal pink-hued wine offers a vivacious nose with notes of redcurrant and thyme. Delicate on the palate, revealing lovely citrus and red berry flavours and boasting a long fresh finish.
