Fortant goes again to the discovery of Mediterranean terroirs to create the first organic vintages dedicated to vegetable cooking
Our white GAIA Oc cuvée is a blend of Grenache grapes. In order to ensure a maximum of freshness, we have chosen our Grenache grapes from the cool slopes of the Languedoc’s scrublands
The growing methods used embrace the principles of agro-ecology:
preservation and development of biodiversity
control over and reduction of the use of fertilizers and plant protection products
water management, and choice of plant material suited to the area’s environment
The grapes in each plot are harvested at their peak of ripeness and vinified separately:
Fermented at low temperatures (15°C) to preserve all of the wine’s finesse and freshness.
Aged in concrete/stainless steel tanks on fine lees for 3 months to bring out the fruit and develop freshness.
This rose petal pink-hued wine offers a vivacious nose with notes of redcurrant and thyme. Delicate on the palate, revealing lovely citrus and red berry flavours and boasting a long fresh finish.
