CRÉMANT DU JURA
Grands Crêts Brut

Grape varieties

Our Crémant du Jura Les Grands Crets is produced from a unique terroir. Small in size, but with exceptional diversity, the Jura vineyards stretch 80 km between Burgundy and Switzerland. The cool climate and the soil minerality allow the grapes to reveal their purest expression with great freshness. The blend is largely made up of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.

Winemaking

According to Méthode Traditionnelle, the harvest is strictly hand-picked. Transportation of the picked grapes takes place in perforated cases to preserve the freshness of the fruit. Pressing occurs with whole bunches, without “foulage”. After blending the bottles are aged on their lees for a minimum of 12 months.

Tasting notes

Brilliant colour with golden yellow highlights. The “cordon” is well-sustained.

Delicate bouquet; aromas of grilled bread and hints of butter. The wine opens with notes of verbena and wild peach, to which follow soft aromas such as quince and honey.

Round and generous to the taste. Rich effervescence. There is a taste of white-fleshed fruits such as apple and pear.

A soft finish underlined by a hint of minerality.

Food and wine pairing

Perfect as an aperitif, our Crémant du Jura Grands Crets also suits grilled fish dishes.
