Fortant goes again to the discovery of Mediterranean terroirs to create the first organic vintages dedicated to vegetable cooking
Our white GAIA Oc cuvée is a blend of Viognier and Chardonnay grapes. In order to ensure a maximum of freshness, we have chosen our Viognier and Chardonnay grapes from the cool slopes of the Languedoc’s scrublands
The growing methods used embrace the principles of agro-ecology:
preservation and development of biodiversity
control over and reduction of the use of fertilizers and plant protection products
water management, and choice of plant material suited to the area’s environment.
The grapes in each plot are harvested at their peak of ripeness and vinified separately:
Fermented at low temperatures (15°C) to preserve all of the wine’s finesse and freshness.
Aged in concrete/stainless steel tanks on fine lees for 4 months in order to bring out all of this wine’s fruit and texture.
Buttercup yellow in colour, this wine offers a generous nose featuring aromas of vineyard peach and acacia. Floral and full-bodied on the palate with exotic flavours and a delectable finish.
