The history of Labouré-Roi is closely linked to that of Nuits-Saint-Georges, in the heart of the iconic Côte de Nuits. Founded in 1832, Labouré-Roi is today one of the most respected names in Burgundy.

These historical roots in the heart of one of the most fragmented and exacting wine-producing regions in the world have shaped a philosophy focused on excellence and discovery. For nearly 200 years, Labouré-Roi has enabled wine lovers from all over the world to access the prestigious appellations of these legendary vineyards.

TASTING NOTES

Colour: Golden yellow, with a fine, light mousse.

Nose: Floral and expressive, revealing aromas of nuts such as hazelnut and almond.

Palate: The attack is fresh, vibrant and light, with hints of honey. A subtle touch of wood on the finish is reminiscent of the great Burgundy white wines produced by the House.

FOOD AND WINE PAIRING

Perfect as an aperitif, this sparkling wine is also great with grilled salmon or roast turkey with shallots, olive oil and thyme. To end the meal on a sweet note, it can be served with desserts such as peach pie and vanilla ice cream.

SERVING SUGGESTIONS

Serve chilled, between 6° and 8°C.

AGEING POTENTIAL

Its freshness is best appreciated in its youth, and it can be kept for 2 years.

VINIFICATION AND MATURING

Natural fermentation in temperature-controlled vats. Our Excellence Chardonnay was matured on fine lees for 3 months, with daily stirring of the lees during the prise de mousse. Some of the base wines were aged in wood.

Alcohol content: 12% vol.
Dosage : 6g/l. (BRUT)
