CHARDONNAY VIN DE FRANCE
Les Plants Nobles

Production area

The grapes, harvested at night to preserve the typical freshness of Chardonnay, come from different terroirs in the south and southwest of France on clay-limestone soils.

Origins

This range, of easy-drinking wines, pays tribute to the great noble French varietals and especially to the roots of Ropiteau Frères.

This Chardonnay perfectly reflects the style of Ropiteau's white wines, combining depth, elegance, and a perfect balance between freshness and fruitiness.

Varietal

100% Chardonnay

Tasting notes

COLOUR: Beautiful pale gold with green tinges, bright and clear.
NOSE: Both delicate and complex, it reveals aromas of citrus, exotic fruits, and delicately toasted dried fruits.
PALATE: The fresh and very slightly oily attack is carried by a slight sweetness and a beautiful fruity intensity. The long and elegant finish reveals great finesse.

Vinification and maturing

Each plot was vinified separately. The grapes were gently pressed to extract the juice. The juice underwent static settling to obtain the pure, typical aromas of Chardonnay. After fermentation in low-temperature vats, the wine is aged for 4 months on fine lees, a quarter in oak barrels to impart a subtle structure and the other three quarters in stainless steel vats to preserve the fruitiness and freshness of the grapes.

May be enjoyed on its own as an aperitif, with mixed salads or with fish
