Origins

The Côte de Beaune-Villages appellation is harvested in 14 communes located in the Côte d'Or and Saône-et-Loire departments. Only red wines are produced for this appellation. The Côte de Beaune stretches over only 20 kilometres or so, between Ladoix-Sérrigny and the magnificent hillside of the Maranges. The world's greatest dry white wines stand side by side with red wines of great reputation. The Côte de Beaune has a past steeped in history. The origin of the vine is very old. The monks of Cîteaux and Cluny have enhanced the countless vineyards that are still famous today.

Vinification & ageing

Grapes are hand-picked, passed over a sorting table, crushed, de-stemmed, then vatted for about 15 days and matured in barrels for about 12 months.
