A deep knowledge of the soils and subsoils in Chablis allows J.MOREAU & Fils to identify the shade and character in each terroir, to reveal all its richness and complexity with each new vintage.

Faithful to its origins and culture, the house ages all of its wines with patience: a day in the cellar is as important as one day in the vineyards. The House J. MOREAU & Fils has put its name to great Chablis wines since 1814.

Rouge Vin de France

A blend of several red grape varietals.

Tasting notes

-Ruby red in colour tinged with violet
-Intense nose with notes of red berries, coffee and caramel.
-The flavours on the palate confirm those perceived on the nose. Fruity, full-bodied and silky, this is an easy-drinking wine. The finish is supple with hints of chocolate.
Perfect with red meats, any dish prepared with a wine-based sauce, and all cheeses

Vinification and maturing

Fermentation took place in stainless steel vats under controlled temperatures (28°C).
The wines were blended a minimum of 6 months according to specifications laid out by J. Moreau & Fils before being bottled.
